An illuminated biodynamic shiraz as part of the VNTNR Artist Series released in February 2024, in collaboration with three young contemporary artists. Sitting alongside a 2023 vermentino and a grüner, this bottle presents work “Shadow (Tower)” by Meagan Streader. “Embodying both nostalgic and futuristic qualities, Shadow (Tower) combines art-deco and modern styles to consider the structures, materials and phenomena that define our experiences within interior and exterior spaces,” explains Streader. “Shiraz is typically full bodied and textural; bold and striking like my sculptures. But shiraz, particularly biodynamic shiraz, can also be nuanced and delicate; light and layered like my work. It’s up to the viewer/drinker to take what they want from the experience.”
